Two methods of travel exist for all mainland participants.

Flying:
Qantas, Virgin and Tiger Airlines all fly from Melbourne to Hobart. Early bookings or teams making a combined group booking are more cost effective. If you would like to join with another team(s) to form a group booking, please let us know and we will pass on your request. To assist you, we are happy to meet groups at Hobart Airport and transport them to their accommodation - please make this request when registering.

By Sea:
The Spirit of Tasmania leaves the Melbourne's dock each evening and arrives early the next morning at Devonport. The cost of transporting vehicles varies according to the type, size and accommodation booked for the overnight trip. We encourage mainland teams considering registering for The Tassie Energy Challenge to let us know ASAP. We will, if you request, put you in touch with other teams considering participating. Joint cartage of HPV's in/on one registered road vehicle or trailer does lower the cost for each team.
