Veronica Soebarto is an Associate Professor at The School of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, The University of Adelaide. She teaches in the area of sustainable design, environmental systems in buildings and environmental performance of buildings. Her research areas include building performance simulation and environmental performance assessment and monitoring of buildings. She has conducted thermal monitoring of many houses, most of them are award-winning buildings. She is the immediate past President of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) Australasia and the current secretary of the Architectural Science Association ANZAScA. She is one of the authors of a recently published book "Bioclimatic
Housing: Innovative Designs for Warm Climates" (R. Hyde (Ed.), by Earthscan, 2007).

Jim as manager of House Energy Rating, completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide and since then has spent over 10 years working in the building industry. His star rating building company represents Sustainability Victoria’s First Rate software and the Federal Government's Accurate software in SA and assesses building applications for several local and state government departments around Australia.
While the majority of his work has been in the commercial and industrial areas, for the last 7 years he has been heavily involved in the domestic side of ratings. Jim and his wife Michelle have just built their own 'environmentally friendly' house, which can be viewed from the website listed below. |

A very active member of the Horticultural Media Association (SA Inc.). Author of Tune Your Garden, curent Advertiser/Sunday Mail and ABC TV Garden Journalist, Sophie has for many years presented gardening weekly radio talkback programs on several Adelaide radio and television stations. In addition, she writes gardening columns for a variety of publications in South Australia, including columns in 15 country papers. Sophie has also been a valued member of Carrick Hill’s Gardens and Grounds Committee since 1996 and worked as manager of the Botanic Gardens Advisory Services. http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/stories/s1413488.htm |

While Jim Woolcock is prepared to give this training, he is not available to guide team members as to how to gain favours in their submission.
