Curriculum

Curriculum Committee

Chairperson: Bruce Ledo
Email: curriculum@energy.edu.au

Bruce is a teacher within the SA Education department based in Whyalla on the west coast of South Australia. Formerly a lecturer at Adelaide's School of Technology before moving to Whyalla. He is currently involved with students from Whyalla's three high schools and Whyalla City Council as coordinator of Team Whyalla's involvement in HPV's and other sustainable hands on learning.

The committee's main role at present is to prepare curriculum for the web covering the three main areas the association is caring for, namely

  • HOUSING
  • INDUSTRY
  • TRANSPORTATION

Due to Australian copyright legislation the association has had to form a curriculum team responsible for writing new curricula. Under current legislation all teachers who write curricula or prepare lesson notes for teaching while employed by a government educational body irrespective of whether state, territory or federal government are not permitted to share with us any of their lesson notes or curriculum planning if prepared for their day to day teaching despite the association being a not for profit association.

We ask that you be patient with us as retired educators are tirelessly working to help fill this gap.

If you are able to help or have ideas that could be included whether at school or tertiary level, please email Bruce.
