About Us

The dream!

What started as a dream shared by three, has grown over the years to blossom into a curriculum that caters for students from a variety of backgrounds who are prepared to put their blood sweat and tears on the line and strive to achieve what many would say was impossible.

The Association, born out of a friendly rivalry between schools, grew to share skills and knowledge amongst its members in an effort to help youth better understand themselves and the world they gradually are inheriting from us. The various disciplines of aerodynamics, chemistry, communication, diet, electricity, endurance, mathematics, physics, physiology, polytechnic all being incorporated into a greater knowledge of mechanical engineering and an awareness of our sun, the source of the majority of our energy. The original aim was that member schools share their knowledge and skills in a variety of ways, whether it be in a science lesson, a technical lesson, or a humanity class, all achievements are shared. Among their objectives being the promotion of learning in new and emerging technologies in transport for young people. To achieve this each school strives to

  • foster the transfer of technologies between association members.
  • foster the transfer and development of curricula
  • be a clearing house for the latest information from around the world on HPV's and hybrid vehicles as well as any other forms of transport.
  • create, promote and manage events that provide opportunities for young people, and educators, to share their successes.
  • be active participants in events that provide opportunities to promote sustainable transport technologies. (eg. the World Solar Cycle Challenge and others in Australia and elsewhere.
  • All educational institutions or interested individuals are invited to join the associations. There is only one major requirement - the desire to work with our youth for an improved world for tomorrow and that your intentions fall within the rules of the association and meet government legislation.

Today this group has grown to be an Australian Incorporated Association representing Schools, Tafe Colleges, Registered Training Organisations and Universities around Australia. Called Energy Education Australia, the association hopes to enlighten energy users in how to become smarter, savvier and less wasteful in their daily use of the various energy forms.

If you or your group are interested, please feel free to access the data links below for further information or email us for additional information. Joining us is very simple. Just download the corresponding application and complete the details before forwarding it to us by mail to Energy Education Australia PO Box 361 Oaklands Park SA 5046. Currently our membership fee per year is AU$100.00 + GST = AU$110.00. Our year follows the Australian educational year from January to December.

In addition to fostering the key elements of energy for youth, the association recognised that some of Australia's youth would never live to enjoy the wonders of science and technology and as a not for profit organisation, chose to assist children suffering with incurable diseases in fund raising where ever possible. To that extent the association with the Adelaide Football Club's Young Crushers Group strive to assist the work of the Pediatric Pallative Care Units around Australia with financial help when ever possible. If you also would like to assist us in anyway or a Pediatric pallative Care Unit in your state or territory, please either email us or mail your enquiry.
