New Solarcar Project - Car 51

Now let's get serious! Do you really enjoy alternate energy forms?

Energy Education Australia ran a Combined Secondary Schools Team using TAFE SA's solar car Kelly in the Adventure Class of the World Solar Challenge in 2009 - Darwin, in the Northern Territory to Adelaide in South Australia - crossing a continent with the sun as its fuel.
Now it aims to accept another challenge and restore a previous contender, Car 51 to its old glory and again use the sun as its energy source.
At this stage we are looking for sponsorship to continue the restoration process and for school and student involvement.
